A new book written by Rihanna and her creative director Simon Henwood is to be released in June 2010. The book will contain designs, films, visuals and photographs which the pair have created during Rihanna's Rated R era. The book is rumored to be called "Rihanna: The Last Girl On Earth", relating to the inspiration for Rated R, the film "Omega Man". Henwood has created the R logo as well as working on Rihanna's 2010 World Tour contributing to stage design, costumes, background visuals and more. Say what you will about Rihanna, but the woman doesn’t do things halfheartedly. Last night, the Rated R singer headed to NYC tattoo parlor East Side Ink — one of her favorites — and had her personal motto etched indelibly into her skin forever.

“She came in at about 2:00 A.M.,” East Side Ink owner and artist Keith “Bang Bang” McCurdy tells OK! exclusively. “She told me in advance she’d be coming, and then when she got there, she told me what she wanted: ‘Never a failure, always a lesson,’ but written backwards.”

Bang Bang continues, “I asked her why she wanted that and she said, ‘It’s kind of my motto in life for everything.’ Instead of considering things to be mistakes, considering them lessons.”

He explains that RiRi, who he says is “doing great,” wanted the phrase done in mirror writing so she would be able to read it in the mirror.

Because this piece of body art is so personal to Rihanna, the pop superstar decided she didn’t want this new ink to be as obvious as the ones she already sports. “She said that she wanted to do it in gray, rather than black, because she wanted it to be more subtle,” explains Bang Bang. “She didn’t want it to draw too much attention.”

Rihanna did an AWESOME job tonight at her Rated R Launch Concert with Nokia in London. She performed a few tracks from the new album plus a few of her fan favorites including a new acoustic version of Disturbia! She kicked the show off with a Mad House intro then she came up through a trap door and performed Wait Your Turn. The stage setup was amazing, with vintage TVs and silver mannequin body parts placed all over it and the visuals for each of the songs were awesome, with Russian Roulette including a white spinning chair which looked amazing, and at one point she had an amazing microphone accessory! Her costumes were amazing, featuring a fierce black leotard with chunky silver detail and a black leather leotard with straps hanging from it! As for special guests, Young Jeezy performed Hard with Rih, and Jay-Z made a special appearance for Run This Town and then did his intro rap for Umbrella. The show was awesome, but unfortunately, I thought it was way too short. Other than that, make sure you go to nokia.com/rihanna tomorrow for the highlights of this amazing show! Below you can see the videos that have been uploaded so far of the performances of Wait Your Turn and Umbrella ft. Jay-Z. Tomorrow: Rihanna Tells Her Story

After months of silence, pop sensation Rihanna is talking publicly about her relationship with her ex-boyfriend, Chris Brown, and the February 2009 events that led to his arrest.

"The more in love we became, the more dangerous we became for each other," she told ABC News' Diane Sawyer in an exclusive interview set to air on "Good Morning America" at 7am ET Thursday, Nov. 5. Their full interview will air on "20/20" at 10pm E.T. Friday, Nov. 6.

In August, Brown was sentenced to five years of probation, six months of community service and one year of domestic violence counseling for assaulting the 21-year-old pop singer the night before the Grammy Awards.

"This happened to me ... it can happen to anyone," Rihanna told Sawyer. Rihanna told Sawyer that Brown was "definitely my first big love" before the dramatic incident, which resulted in the tabloids tearing apart the couple's seemingly fairy tale relationship.
